RGB Tag User Guide
Welcome to your new RGB Bone Tag 1.0! This guide will help you get started and make the most out of your new wearable lighting accessory~!
Charging Your Tag
– Use a USB Type-C cable to charge the device
– Plug into any standard 5V USB power source
– The battery indicator at the bottom of the tag will now flash green. Each light represents 25% battery increments.
– If the tag is not plugged in with the light flashing, it means the battery is low. Please charge the device.
Basic Controls
The tag is designed to work right out of the box! No setup required.
The bottom of the tag has 4 objects. From left to right there is a Type-C charging port, mode selection, power switch (Left = Off Right = On), and battery status indicator.
Mode Selection
– Short Press: Cycles through built-in lighting modes.
– Quick double press: Toggles current lighting mode from high brightness to low brightness.
– Hold (10 seconds): Enable WiFi Access Point Mode.
– Wifi SSID: PupPrints3D-######
– Wifi Password: pupprints3d
Connecting to WLED (Full Control Mode) (ADVANCED USERS)
To unlock full customization:

Hold the button for 10 seconds

Look for a WiFi network named:
PupPrints3D-##### (# will be different per tag)
Password: pupprints3d -
Connect to that network on your phone or computer.

Open your browser and go to:
http://4.3.2.1 (or it may open automatically)
From here, you can:
– Change colors and brightness
– Select from dozens of effects
– Enable audio reactive modes
– Save and load presets
Note: You can change the WiFi Access Point name and password by going to Config > Wifi Setup > Scrolling down to “Configure Access Point” and changing AP SSID and AP Password. Set “AP Opens” to Always. If you hold mode select for 10 seconds it will erase those settings and use default SSID and Password.
Audio Reactive Mode
– Some effects react to sound automatically
– Works best in environments with music or consistent audio
– Sensitivity may vary depending on surroundings
Swapping Face Plates
Face plates are attached by self aligning magnets. Simply slide off the current face plate and put a new one on!
You only need one base! Swap designs anytime! Infinite possibilities. Additional face plates can be purchased here: LED BADGE FACEPLATE
Battery & Runtime
Battery life: Up to 6 hours
Depends on:
– Brightness level
– Effect type
– Audio reactive usage
Tips to extend battery life:
– Lower brightness
– Use simpler/static effects
– Turn off when not in use
Important Notes
Avoid exposure to:
– Water or moisture (The tag does not like water)
– Excessive heat (The tag was made by Canadians. It’s cold up here. Don’t melt the tag)
– Physical impact (It doesn’t owe you money. You don’t need to beat it up)
Warranty
Includes a 1-year limited warranty
Covers manufacturing defects only
Does not cover:
– Physical damage
– Water damage
– Improper use
